Follow That Girl to Cinderella’s Night Out
A fundraising event for Alzheimer’s
NEW YORK CITY (September 23, 2011) Follow That Girl, the New York based empowerment social network for professional women with a social conscience, kicks off with a benefit for modern day Cinderellas.
The event will take place on October 18th 2011 from 6 pm to 10 pm at Kiss & Fly, the choice of style conscious jet-setters in the Meatpacking District.
True to its commitment to help women come together and develop in the areas of wellness, beauty, and health, Follow That Girl is happy to benefit the Alzheimer’s Association in their first fundraiser. Every year, Alzheimer affects the lives of each American in some way. Every 69 seconds, another American develops Alzheimer, the sixth leading cause of death in the country. The numbers are not improving. Follow That Girl is committed to changing that.
The evening will include live musical performances from award winning classical guitarist Pablo Sainz Villegas, celebrity appearances, and gift bags sponsored by Vita Coco, TurtleScarf, Aveda, amongst many others. Beyond the event, Follow That Girl will donate a percentage of the proceeds from its online store to the Alzheimer’s Association, New York City Chapter. Follow That Girl in helping stave off Alzheimer’s, in style.
