March is Women’s History Month…. I will commemorate the month of March by dedicating it to all the women that inspire me, the women that made and continue to make history, the movers and shakers of today and tomorrow…
March Events:
March 12th, 2010 “ FEMICIDE” Art exhibit curated and hosted by Mia Roman. Over 10 established visual artists, over 30 pieces of art, 3 amazing seasoned poets and music to move your souls by an amazing DJ. The artwork is as diverse and graphic as the crime. They will depict violence against women in a form that has never been seen before. The colors drip from the canvas as did the tears of the abused. A show not to be missed, so be there and be aware!!!

Latina Empowerment, Find it… Do it… Hosted by our favorite Jibaro “George” from Social Sofrito/ Sofrito Media Group. Is your dream possible? Is it within reach? Is it obtainable? We all have a desire and dream to live out our passion for either, the arts, media, education, etc. The guest speakers will discuss Latina Entrepreneurship, how they obtained their independence and how it changed their lives and their communities… a secret to how you can Find it and Do it.
